Homecoming Parade- Oct 8
You’ve Got a Friend at LINCOLN! We are so excited for our Homecoming parade float theme this year: TOY STORY!
ALL WALKERS (parents and students) must be in a Toy-Story costume per parade rules. We will also be singing and dancing the first 40 seconds of this video every time we stop the float, so please practice with your kiddos!
The parade will begin and end at Plainfield High School. All traffic the day of the parade must come from Renwick Road to River Road to Fort Beggs Drive. There will be no westbound traffic on Fort Beggs the day of the parade (you cannot turn onto Fort Beggs from Rte 59) and James Street will be closed for staging. All floats will proceed to staging on James Street. Everyone else will be sent Eastbound on Fort Beggs Drive. There will be NO PARKING at Plainfield High School. If you have students to drop off, you will pull into the drive-in front of the high school to drop them off then proceed back onto Fort Beggs Drive and exit on Route 59. Be aware all drop offs must happen before 8:30 am.
